WEEK 13 SURVIVOR
Cincinnati proved to be an easy selection as the Bengals handled Oakland last weekend. There are a few decent favorites this weekend, but you should stay away from all the primetime games. Check out all the analyses on Week 13.
Thursday Night Football
New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons –
The Saints need to win this game if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. However, Atlanta will be looking for revenge at home. I’m picking the Falcons in this one, but stay away in survivor.
Green Bay should be able to rebound at home against Minnesota this week, but you may want to analyze your other options before going with a divisional showdown. If you still have San Francisco, you should avoid taking them on the road in St. Louis. The same goes for New England in Miami. Buffalo is a sneaky pick against Jacksonville, who will travel north for a cold game. Denver will look to keep it rolling against Tampa Bay. Even though Denver is red-hot winning six straight, I would consider holding off if you have the Broncos. Week 13 is probably not the time to get cute unless you are in a pool with hundreds of people still remaining. However, slight favorites like the New York Jets (hosting Arizona), and Detroit (hosting Indianapolis) may be worth a look. I would not trust Carolina on the road in Kansas City since the Chiefs are bound to win sometime. Dallas should be able to handle Philaelphia without Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy again.
Monday Night Football
New York Giants at Washington Redskins –
NFC East battle that you need to avoid.
I would roll with Green Bay or Buffalo this week as my top two picks. Following those two teams, I would go with Dallas, New England or Denver. This may be your one chance to use Buffalo, and I expect the Bills to feed off of that home crowd and earn the win. Jacksonville is banged up at running back and is not used to the weather in Buffalo.
Carolina is on the road in Kansas City, who is bound to win at some point. The Chiefs kept the game close against Denver last week and now get Carolina on their short week. Don’t look at the 1-10 record of the Chiefs and automatically assume that 3-8 Carolina will beat them in Arrowhead.
