It seems like most are thinking the Steelers at home, coming off a bad loss to the Patriots, with the top rushing defense in the league, will stymie the Raiders. I’m going to creep out onto that limb and state that something very different will happen. For as good as the Steelers can be against the run (though BenJarvus Green-Ellis didn’t seem to notice) the Raiders can run the ball just as effectively. The NFL is geared toward offense and if two equal forces meet, the advantage falls the offenses way and that is exactly what will happen for the Raiders. They’ll be able to run the ball better than many are giving them credit for. Defensively the Raiders will take away most of the field from Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers will find it very hard going trying to move the ball in the air. Ground your Steelers passing game if you have other options. The Raiders can most certainly be had on the ground so expect Rashard Mendenhall to perform well as the Steelers will run. The Raiders offense is going to surprise here though apart from Darren McFadden, there are no locks from this group for your starting lineup.
