How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.
Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions – Thursday 12:30pm
Home underdogs, like the Lions are, can be tricky to predict. The Eagles will play better here overall than the Lions do as they’ll run well behind DeMarco Murray and will also pass the ball well enough, though Mark Sanchez won’t look like the second coming of Tom Brady, he will be efficient. The Lions though will win a gutsy game at home primarily on the arm of Matthew Stafford. This will be a great game to watch as there will be a lot of back and forth and a decent number of big plays that will make it an entertaining Thanksgiving Day opener.

Carolina Panthers at Dallas Cowboys – Thursday 4:30pm
Where Dallas makes a costly error in their game planning is to try and feature Tony Romo and Dez Bryant as they will be playing right into the teeth of the Panthers defense when they do. What they should do is run Darren McFadden until his wheels fly off but they are much too proud and Tony Romo too self-confident to employ such a boring game plan. The Panthers however know how to win and they will do what they do best, run the football. Expect a big day from Jonathan Stewart and Cam Newton.

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers – Thursday 8:30pm
They’re baaack. The Bears won’t be that bad in this game, they’ll run and throw the ball well enough but the hole that will kill the Bears is when the Packers run the ball. Eddie Lacy is happy to show all of us what he is still capable of as the Packers grind one out for a change.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Indianapolis Colts – Sunday 1:00pm
Indy at home is a tricky place for Tampa to play. Tampa will look like the better team, especially Doug Martin who will run all over the Colts for big gains, but the Colts are scrappy with Matt Hasselbeck at the helm and they’ll do just enough to stay in the game and steal it in the end. For fantasy, focus on your Bucs, for weekly pools, it will be the Colts you want.

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets – Sunday 1:00pm
I’ll be honest and say that I don’t really feel great about picking the Jets in this. There just seems something fundamentally flawed with their team lately where they have consistently been playing worse than how they should be playing on paper. Once again this week, on paper, the Jets look dominating, they are at home, they will be able to run and throw the ball better than Miami and all of the turnover advantages also fall the Jets way. On paper, it’s a blood-bath. But this is a division game against a Dolphins team that will have an advantage in the air, with an even bigger advantage if Revis is unable to go so there is opportunity for the Dolphins here too.
