How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.
Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions – Thursday 8:25pm
The Lions have been playing some spirited football a little too late and we are about to discover that there is something fundamentally broken with the Packers. Matthew Stafford to Calvin Johnson and even Golden Tate, will be in full swing but the Packers will have trouble answering. Eddie Lacy is back and he’ll run well but once again, the Packers receivers will struggle to get open and Aaron Rodgers will be pressured into making hasty decisions.

Houston Texans at Buffalo Bills – Sunday 1:00pm
While Houston has been playing a better brand of defense, the Bills’ ground game is going to stress their new found success. Steer far clear of both passing games but still play DeAndre Hopkins as his talent can’t be overstated but this could be another pedestrian game for him. Expect LeSean McCoy to carry the torch for the Bills and be the primary reason why they win this.

Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins – Sunday 1:00pm
I realize that the Dolphins are at home and are favored, but apart from a slight advantage in the air, this is all about the Ravens and their offensive and defensive lines. The Ravens are reeling from injuries for sure but there is a lot of pride in their team and they will open the holes and block their hearts out to give their offense and their secondary a chance.

Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 30 – Miami Dolphins 24
Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns – Sunday 1:00pm
I know most expect the Bengals offense to steam right through the Browns defense and they would be right. Fantasy-wise this will be all about the Bengals but in Cleveland, with jobs on the line, the Browns will play a plucky brand of football and while they really don’t have the horsepower to win this, they will keep it closer than many believe, primarily due to how hard a frustrated Browns defense will be hitting and the fumbles they will be causing.

Prediction: Cincinnati Bengals 27 – Cleveland Browns 23
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans – Sunday 1:00pm
Fantasy-wise you really don’t want to start anyone in this game. The matchups are tight in this as the Titans few strengths are countered well by the Jaguars and the Jaguars few strengths are countered well by the Titans. It will make for a tight football game and an exciting one if you are either a Jaguars or Titans fan.

Prediction: Tennessee Titans 24 – Jacksonville Jaguars 23
New York Jets at New York Giants – Sunday 1:00pm
It’s the battle for New York in the unusual situation where both teams are at home. Technically, this is a Giants’ home game, but in reality, it’s a New York/New Jersey football game where the fan bases can come out in force and what a game it will be. The Jets will be able to do what they wish on offense as the Giants defense is just not able to keep up with everything the Jets can bring to bear. The Giants though have one “not so secret” weapon in Odell Beckham that the Jets have no chance on being able to cover which will keep the Giants in this and ultimately will make a very exciting finish to this game. Start what you own and reap the rewards.
