The Prognosticator – Week 6

The Saints are going to struggle in the air which runs contrary to what
most think. Drew
Brees

has swan dived a little, he’ll be fine when all is said and done but
this will be a difficult game for Brees as the Giants are going to pass
rush and blitz till the cows come home. It will drastically reduce what
the Saints can do in the air and the long balls to Devery
Henderson
won’t have time to complete. Expect the Saints to
counter with a lot of Pierre
Thomas
, Reggie
Bush
and Mike
Bell

as it sounds like he will be back this week. The Saints will try and
match the Giants intensity with some smash mouth football of their own
with Brees keeping it short with dinks and dunks to Reggie
Bush
and Jeremy
Shockey

underneath. It’ll be just enough for the Saints to eek by the Giants
but what a tremendous game this will be. It will be a chess match and
for those that know a lot about the game, they’ll be watching with a
great deal of interest as both teams counter, adjust, counter, adjust
for 4 straight quarters. Maybe 5.
