The Rookie Report

everyone to the thirteenth regular season installment to the Rookie
Report. In case you missed the report earlier
this season, the report will cover topics, trends and a game by game analysis
of notable performances by the NFL’s 2007 Rookie Class to assist in your
pursuit of dynasty championship gold.

numerous different happenings occurring this week, this week’s report will
provide a recap of rookie related news and offer analysis into each situation.

So sit
back, but don’t get too comfortable because here we go with our twelfth regular
season week’s installment of this report.…

RB Adrian Peterson – Minnesota Vikings

Peterson proved to be a quick healer as he returned to the Vikings backfield in
Week 13. Expect him to be eased into the
full load with a splitting carries for the next few weeks with Chester
Taylor. This is perfect timing as
Peterson should be ready to contribute for the fantasy playoff season provided
there are no additional set backs.

RB Marshawn Lynch/Deshawn Wynn – Buffalo Bills

Lynch continues to recover from a high ankle sprain. There was some good news for Lynch owners as
he returned to practice for the first time on Friday albeit in a limited
fashion. Watch the practice reports this
week, but there is a decent chance Lynch will play in Week 14. Fred Jackson started in both Lynch and
Anthony Thomas’ place due to them being sidelined by injuries.Deshawn Wynn has been surpassed on the depth
chart by Jackson
due to inconsistent play.

RB Kolby Smith – Kansas City

Smith had a great debut against Oakland
by thrashing one of the worst run D’s in the league. Larry Johnson remains out; however, he began
running again last Wednesday and it is a possibility that he will be back at
some point this season. Still, bringing
Johnson back this season does not make much sense for the 4-7 Chiefs as they
look to have nothing to play for this season.
Kolby Smith owners should enjoy the depth at RB while it lasts.

RB Garrett Wolfe – Chicago Bears

With Cedric
Benson headed to the injured reserve list and out for the year; Garrett Wolfe
moves into the backup running back slot behind Adrian Peterson.Wolfe should see increased action, especially
on third downs which he should excel at.
He is someone to keep an eye on for the remainder of the season and
future with Cedric Benson’s status with the team in question.

WR Dwayne Bowe – Kansas City Chiefs

being trapped in Herm Edwards unfriendly offense and having two subpar
quarterbacks throwing to him, Dwayne Bowe has turned in a nice rookie season
thus far. Through the first 11 games
Bowe has 49 catches, 731 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. If he continues on this pace, he will finish
the season with over 1,000 receiving yards and be someone to watch in the

RB Selvin Young/Andre Hall – Denver Broncos

With the
NFL’s ruling on the suspension of Travis Henry still up in the air, the value
of Selvin Young and Andre Hall continues to be up in the air. Selvin Young returned in Week 13 from his injury
took on a backup role against Oakland
this week. Andre Hall is being plagued
by a high ankle sprain. The NFL’s ruling
should come early in this upcoming week and will provide a clearer picture of
both Young and Hall’s values for the future.

The following section of the
