Greetings Sharkfans! My apology to all you faithful readers for the delay in getting this out – life happens. Anyways, I’d like to take a quick look at some of my DB rankings with this article. I’m a huge proponent of drafting safeties over cornerbacks, but I found it interesting that in a couple of “expert” leagues that I’m involved in that there were a pretty good proportion of CBs in the top 25 in comparison to safeties. Perhaps this is something to consider when picking DBs for IDP this year. Here’s my list:

One person that I left off the list is Rodney Harrison. He’s been taken off of the PUP list and is participating in training camp with the Patriots. I really hesitate to put him back in the upper echelon of DBs right now. I think it will be a while for him to get back up to speed – I’m betting at least the first half of the year. It’s a risk going after him, in my opinion, but it could pay off down the road. That’s a tough one to call right now.
That’s it for this week. Sorry that I had to cut the list and the commentary a little short. (By the way, you are welcome Stormtrooper!) Also, please keep an eye out for Fantasyshark’s IDP-only league (the Wall) as we begin drafting this Monday.
Once again, thanks for reading!
