Greetings Sharkfans, welcome to the latest installment of the Seadog Report! Sorry, not much time for chit chat this week so let’s just get into it shall we?
Seadog’s picks of the week
DL Keith Traylor MIA vs. Houston This is usually a spot I’d be saying Jason Taylor’s name but Traylor is on fire right now and makes a great play this week. He’s got some off field stuff going on right now, but it doesn’t seem to be affecting his play.
DL Ty Warren and Richard Seymour NE vs. Cincinnatti Normally I shy away from NE defensive linemen, but both Warren and Seymour are getting it done consistently each week, so far. I’d stick with these guys again against the Bengals.
DL Shaun Rogers DET vs. St Louis Sticking with the DT theme this week, I think Rogers will do some damage going against the Ram O-line.
LB Chris Draft CAR vs. New Orleans In case you haven’t noticed, Morgan is out and Draft is in as MLB for the Panthers. His IDP points are on the rise. Grab him and play him this week.
LB Gerald Hayes ARI vs. Atlanta Hayes is another guy that is probably available on most waiver wires. With the Cards facing Atlanta’s high-powered running attack, this should be a good match up.
LB Landon Johnson CIN vs New England For those of you holding out hope for Thurman coming back, well, sorry, he ain’t coming back this year. That ought to make all of you Landon Johnson owners pretty happy though. Keep playing this guy as he continues to put up solid numbers.
LB AJ Hawk GB vs. Philadelphia This should be a good match up for the rookie this week. Philly has been throwing a lot but I think Westbrook will be a factor in this one. Hawk’s speed will be a help in trying to corral him.
DB Marlin Jackson IND vs. NY Jets Pennington will be throwing; Jackson is starting – this match up makes a lot of sense. Fantasyshark’s picked him up to solve a bye week issue on our roster in the HAFAX league that we are in, so he better produce.
DB Kevin Kaesviharn CIN vs. New England (I only had to look that name up 3 times) Kaesviharn is replacing Dexter Jackson and with the LB situation lacking much depth, the Cincy safeties will be pretty active this week against Tom Brady and the Pats.
Chicago DBs vs. Seattle Hasselbeck will be going 4-wide without Alexander in there. Chicago’s DBs should be pretty productive with IDP points this week.
Well, that wraps up this week’s Seadog Report. Remember, always play Ray and Rodney! Thanks for reading!
