The Seadog Report

Greetings Sharkfans, welcome to the latest installment of the Seadog Report! Well, for most playoffs are abound – I hope you are still going strong this week. With waivers mostly shutdown (at least in the leagues I’m in) wire grabs and matchups are what they are. I’m going to throw together something just a bit differently this week as we wind this season down.

Seadog’s picks of the week

For this article I’m just going to throw out some “facts” that may or may not help you with your playoff chase. Here’s some top performers over the past few weeks.

  4. Jamal Williams SD

Top 5 LBs

  1. Demeco Ryans HOU

Now for teams that are giving up a lot of IDP points here’s a few:

Atlanta and Seattle are giving up the most points for DLs. Houston, KC, and Green Bay would be good choices to play against as well.

Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati are all surrendering a lot of points for LBs and would make strong plays the next couple of weeks.

Seattle, Carolina, New England, and Minnesota are leading this category for DBs.

Overall, you should always feel confident to play your IDPs against Cleveland and Oakland as they have given up good IDP points all season long.

That will about do it for this week’s Seadog Report. Due to some hectic scheduling and some work conflict, the Seadog Report won’t be around next week. That will most likely mean an end to the season by then anyway.

I would like to thank Fantasyshark’s Wall league for helping me out a lot this year (especially this week) with the Seadog Reports. And speaking of the Wall, I get to go at it again with Swarm this week as we battle in week one of our playoffs.  My line-up will be pretty close to the line-up I started the year with, so that’s pretty cool. I picked up Chris Draft in week #3 and he’s the only starter that wasn’t with me at the start of the year. Swarm is on fire so it should be a good match up. Congrats to SoCalIrishSports and Decktard for making the playoffs too. Good luck to all!
