Howdy Sharkfans! Not too much chit-chat this time as it has been a tough week in the Seadog household. As usual, my recommendations are for good match-ups and perhaps a good waiver pick-up or two. Here we go for week #7
DT – Domata Peko CIN – Pittsburgh is giving up a lot of points to DTs and DEs this year so I’m going to go with Peko as one of my recommendations for DT this week.
DT – Dusty Dvoracek
CHI– Dvoracek is not your everyday household name, especially in the world of DTs. Nice match-up this week though against the Vikings.
DE – Robert Mathis IND – Mathis gets a nod here just based on his 3-sack performance from last week. He probably won’t do that again against Green Bay, but he should be a solid play for you.
DE – Justin Tuck NYG – Ummm, San Fran….don’t hesitate to play your Giant DLs this week. Tuck hasn’t had a sack for a few games, but that will change.
DE – Jay Richardson OAK – If Burgess is out or limited this week, then Richardson could be a nice find this week. Keep an eye on this situation.
LB –Nate Webster DEN – I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t think much of this guy. He has been an IDP diamond-in-the-rough though. He’s got a very good match-up against the Patriots.
LB – Channing Crowder MIA – Crowder is coming off of a big week #6 and the Ravens give up a lot of points to opposing LBs. He makes a good start again for you.
LB – Julian Peterson SEA – Peterson’s past track record is that he gets going on hot streaks. It looks like he is in the middle of one right now and he has a nice match-up with Tampa Bay.
LB –Rashad Jeanty CIN – He should be good for 5 or 6 tackles this week, if you are looking for a bye week filler.
LB – D’Qwell Jackson CLE – Jackson is going to be the player that makes the Seadog Report all season it seems. He’s awesome. He should be in for some good point production with Portis and company hhosting the Browns this week.
S – Daniel Bullocks DET – This is a good week to play the rollercoaster IDP enigma that is Daniel Bullocks.
S – Ken Hamlin DAL – This is kind of my sleeper pick this week. Hamlin is a pretty solid IDP guy, but this could easily be an above average week for him.
CB – Bryant McFadden PIT – Pittsburgh DBs should be strong plays this week against the Bengals passing offense.
CB – Leigh Bodden DET – Bodden has under-performed in IDP so far this season, but with a pick last week, he could be headed for some nice point-production again with the Lions taking on the Texans.
Well, these are some of my recommendations for week #7, and, as usual, thanks for reading!
