The Sunday Blitz – FanDuel Week 1

Welcome to one of the largest growing segments in fantasy sports! Fantasy Sharks has teamed up with FanDuel. The concept is simple. It is your chance to become a general manager. You select a team of players with structured salaries that must not exceed the salary cap. The best part of playing daily fantasy is that if you have a bad week or a player gets injured, you can start off fresh the following week.

Keep in mind that there is a maximum allowed number of entries in the tournaments so sign up now before it’s too late! You can always edit your team up until the first kickoff. Click the link below to sign up and be sure to check out the full breakdown of Week 1 to help you set your lineup.

Sign Up Here – $100,000 Sunday Bomb

The entry fee is $25 and there are 400 prizes including $15,000 for 1st place! That isn’t a bad way to kick off the 2013 season.

Any new user who uses the promo code SHARKS when they sign up will get a 100% deposit bonus up to $200.

Week 1

The standard salary cap is $60,000. The familiar names and studs will put a dent in your salary cap so you will need to find some value picks along the way. This contest includes only the Sunday games so you have until 1pm kickoff when rosters lock.

Studs :

Drew Brees & Aaron Rodgers – At prices of $9,600 and $9,300, respectively, you better be able to find some sleepers at your other positions that can produce. You can probably save about a thousand bucks and go with one of these value plays below.

Values :

Andrew Luck – $8,500 – Luck goes up against the Raiders defense at home in the dome. I would expect at least 2 TDs from 2012’s rookie sensation.

Matthew Stafford – $8,500 – Stafford looks to rebound from 2012 and will be able to start off at home against the Vikings. Look for points to be scored in this one.

Russell Wilson – $8,400 – The only downfall here is that Wilson is not in the comfort of his own stadium. The bonus is he will earn you points with his legs.

Save yourself some money and go with one of these gunslingers instead of the higher-priced studs. Brees & Rodgers look good on paper, but will also put a dent in your salary with each priced at over $9,000+.

Still Looking to Save?

Eli Manning $7,800 – This one could be a shootout and as long as Victor Cruz is on the field, which it appears he should be, Eli could find the end zone a few times on Sunday night.

Tip: I would not try to be too stingy with my QB selection since you can still find some value at the other positions.
