Ultimate Fantasy Quarterback – Week 11

Finally!  It took several weeks of nominations but Drew Bledsoe has finally been eliminated from the competition with 71% of the votes.  It was clear that Drew was the man to go after another horrible performance.  He even followed up his elimination with a 184 Yds and 0 TD output in week 11.

Two eliminated QBs had strong weeks, Kelly Holcomb and Jake Plummer both threw for 3 touchdowns.  Kelly took advantage of a weak Arizona Cardinals team and Jake made the most of his comeback against Doug Flutie and the San Diego Chargers.

Daunte Culpepper continued having a strong season with a 396 Yd effort, although Minnesota lost it’s 4th game in a row.  Donovan McNabb, although already eliminated, appears to be back on track and ready to lead the Eagles into the playoffs.

Here is the current status of the contestant pool:

Drew Bledsoe           Tom Brady               Drew Brees

Aaron Brooks            Kerry Collins            Daunte Culpepper

Brett Favre              Rich Gannon            Jeff Garcia

Trent Green             Matt Hasselbeck       Kelly Holcomb

Tommy Maddox        Peyton Manning        Donovan McNabb

Steve McNair           Jake Plummer           Kurt Warner

As you can see, the remaining contestants are all solid competitors.  This week’s vote will be interesting with Aaron Brooks going up against Brett Favre.

Aaron Brooks (New Orleans) – The Saints rode on the back of RB Duece McAllister to an overtime victory over the Falcons.  Unfortunately for Aaron, his stats were just average with 228 Yds passing and 0 TDs.

Brett Favre (Green Bay)Tampa Bay’s defense shutdown Favre and the Packer passing attack in week 11.  However, it wasn’t enough as Green Bay won the game.  Brett threw for just 92 Yds with 1 TD.

You get to decide with your vote who will be eliminated this week.  Will it be Brett or Aaron?  Who will be the Ultimate Fantasy Quarterback?
