Vinnie’s Pick$ and Pa$$es – Week 11

Ouch, last week was painful. I’m still trying to walk after my bookie cracked my right kneecap. Never thought I’d go 0-3.  I promised him a better effort this week.

Let’s skip the recaps, and move right along.  So, don’t give up on me now, I’ve got a five star winner at the end of the article!

Seattle -12.5 @ San Fran: Yes San Fran is terrible, but they make a good home dog, especially with Ken Dorsey starting. He’s a winner and I look for a good effort from the live dog here. I am worried about injuries on the San Fran side, but I have to imagine that Seattle will be happy just to leave with a W. San Fran +12.5 **

Kansas City -7 @ Houston: Houston may not have many wins, but they play tough. Kansas City has lost Priest Holmes, and Dick Vermeil may be losing his team. Second road game in a row sometimes spells a bad effort. Great spot for the Texans to get the outright win.  Houston +7 ***

Philly +7.5 @ Giants: Donovan McNabb is out, but Mike McMahon is in. Maybe the Giants were looking ahead last week, but the Eagles know this is their season here. Lots of Eli hype, but the Eagles have a solid defense, where points are at a premium. McMahon is another Western PA QB with skills, don’t bet against him. Take Philly as a TD underdog to cover. Five Stars Philly +7.5*****

So, we have one 2 star, one 3 star, and one 5 star game. Let’s get back on track, so I have some Christmas money for the girlfriend.

Current Record
** 5-5
*** 5-4
***** 0-2

So, to Recap
San Fran +12.5 **
Houston +7 ***
Philly +7.5 ***** [Bet the house]
