Here are the recommended adds for Week 13:
Blaine Gabbert, SFO
I am throwing up in my mouth as I write this and prepared to gouge my own eyes out from seeing it here, but I have to give in to Gabbert. He just put up 300 yards against Arizona’s defense, so I guess the best compliment I can give is he isn’t as awful as I imagined. He is strictly a matchup play for 2 QB leagues.
David Johnson, ARI
Johnson gets the nod by default as both Chris Johnson and Ellington are expected to miss time. DJ has produced when given limited opportunities, so it makes sense he will enter as a high end RB2 with the volume of touches he will get in the absence of the other backs,
C.J. Anderson, DEN
Anderson will still split time with Hillman, but now that the weather has turned and we will see frozen and muddy fields, Anderson showed he is viable again. Don’t forget his dominant final 8 games last year. Collinsworth referred to him as a mudder – it sticks.
Alfred Morris, WAS
He has been re-established as the lead back with Jones fumbling problems, but will still be just a TD dependent middling RB3.
Dontrelle Inman, SDC
Inman is not very talented but he is getting enough targets to be a lower end WR3 when the matchup is right. Don’t consider him against strong defenses.
DeVante Parker, MIA
It was garbage time so tread lightly, but with 10 targets and a dead season its about time they get him involved opposite Landry. He’s a risky add with high upside potential.
Donte Moncrief, IND
He was off the radar after a few bad games, but has re-emerged as athreat and has strung a couple of solid games together. He is an asset and Hasselbeck likes throwing to him. He is due to get in the endzone, and is probably the most reliable for season long leagues of this bunch.
Scott Chandler, NEP
Chandler had 5 for 88 and a TD, but that was just because Brady liked his matchup. He is here because Gronk is certain to miss time and Chandler will be the featured TE going forward for the time being.
Cameron Brate, TBB
Brate has hauled in 10 receptions for over 100 yards and a TD in the last couple games. With Sefarian-Jenkins likely done for the year, Brate is a volume play who will be a middling TE2.
