VIP Services – GRAB BAG – Week 7 Waiver Plays

Here are the recommended grabs for Week 7:

QUARTERBACKS

Jay Cutler, CHI

Cutler has put consecutive 300 yard, multiple TD performances and now has Jeffery healthy and he proved that he’s a difference maker.   Cutler is maddening if you care about the Bears winning.  For your fantasy team he’s fine for a bye week replacement.

Brian Hoyer, HOU

Hoyer is an adequate bye week replacement and is worth streaming in DFS depending on his matchup.  He has thrown for multiple TDs three consecutive weeks, and with Arian Foster back his stats will keep improving.

Landry Jones, PIT

Big Ben may be back, but if not he is worth a start.  He looked comfortable in the offense and got rid of the ball quickly, making a return to success likely.

RUNNING BACKS
Charcandrick West fumbled the ball away on the key drive, which should make Davis the lead back going forward.  West out-touched Davis today, but Davis is likely to increase his role.
Turbin’s numbers weren’t significant, but his playing time was.  He ran hard and it looks like he will have an increased role going forward.  He will supplant Crowell as the short yardage back.
Whether or not Lacy is hurt, Starks has demanded he be fed a role in this offense.  Every time he has been given the chance he has produced.  Keep an eye on Lacy’s status.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Watkins was dropped in most leagues and scored in his return to EJ at QB.  Watkins is an all world talent and should be a consistent performer once again now that he is healthy.
Stephon Diggs, MIN
I was no Diggs fan, but he has clearly supplanted Charles Johnson at the WR position and had 9 targets.  He’s worth a pickup as a bye week flex until he shows more consistency.
This assumes Maclin has to miss some time, as Wilson was clearly the Chiefs number one option in the passing game as soon as Maclin went out.  He scored a TD and was targeted by Smith on all the key plays.
Decker is the forgotten man and was dropped in most leagues, but he has been performing when healthy.  He had a TD today and continues to produce when in the lineup.
TIGHT ENDS
Benjamin Watson, New Orleans
Watson has put together back to back games as Drew Brees adjusts to having a pop gun arm for a few games with his sore shoulder.  Watson is a reliable target and will continue to put up TE1 numbers.
Gillmore was cut by many when he got hurt, and he didn’t have a great game today, but he did draw 6 targets and should be a higher end TE2 going forward.
