Darrelle Revis has been in camp less than a week, but feel free to bench Anquan Boldin for a WR with a more favorable matchup. In some leagues I’ve put Boldin on the bench in favor of Bears’ WR Devin Aromashodu.
If you can find a way to get Houston WR Jacoby Jones into your lineup, do it. With Arian Foster coming off of an impressive preseason and the ever-present Andre Johnson garnering most of the defensive attention, Jones will be flying under the radar.
If you’re looking for a TE to start you could do a lot worse that the Bengals’ Jermaine Gresham.
If you think you had a bad draft, I offer you the following story. I was helping out this weekend at a nationally known high-stakes tournament and one of the players selected three kickers. And, to make it even worse he selected them in rounds 17, 18 and 19 of a 20-round draft. There is no need to ever draft a kicker before the last round.
Case in point, Saints’ kicker Garrett Hartley. Hartley’s ADP has him coming off the board as the second kicker selected and well before the last round of any draft. He went 0-for-2 in field goal attempts against the Vikings on Thursday night as he missed from 46 and 32 yards.
I GOTTA SEE…
Dez Bryant finally play in an actual game.
Tampa Bay WR Mike Williams. Williams dropped in the draft due to supposed ‘character issues’. His ‘character issues’ were cheating on a test. According to the Education-Portal.com, between 75-98 percent of college students have admitted to cheating during their academic careers. That means that your investment broker has ‘character issues’, your accountant has ‘character issues’, your family doctor has ‘character issues’, your spouse has ‘character issues’, your boss has ‘character issues’ and most definitely, you have ‘character issues’. Williams was the 101st player selected in the 2010 draft, what a steal!
How much LT will cut into Shonn Greene‘s touches?
Tim Tebow running the ‘Wild Horses’ formation.
What is the deal with MJD’s knee?
Ryan Mathews, Jahvid Best and C.J. Spiller. It was clear that Mathews was the rookie RB that you had to have. Meanwhile, there were varying opinions on Best and Spiller. It’s time to put up or shut up. This is one of the reasons why you play fantasy football, to be able to tell your friends how wrong they were, and how right you were, on a certain player. A friend of mine had the #2 pick in his dynasty league draft. I pushed hard for Dez Bryant, but he ultimately selected Jahvid Best. A Bears’ beatdown on Best would be greatly appreciated today.
