Tiki Barber was one of the most consistent runningbacks at the start of the season. Unfortunately he remained consistent over the last few weeks but this time it was closer to the bottom of the list. The NY Giants struggles finally caught up with him and Tiki was eliminated from the competition in week 14 with 88% of your votes.
We now have 4 contestants remaining: Corey Dillon, Ladainian Tomlinson, Shaun Alexander and Edgerrin James. Both Dillon and Tomlinson had big weeks for their respective teams. Dillon even scored his first receiving touchdown since the 2001 season. Tomlinson came up huge in snowy Cleveland leading the Chargers to the AFC West Division crown.
Larry Johnson continues to try and prove that he was worth a number one pick in 2003. He led all runningbacks with 151 YDs rushing and 2 TDs. Larrys play will probably allow Derrick Blaylock to move onto another team next year, but the job still belongs to Priest Holmes once he is healthy again. Johnsons success has to make you wonder if it is the back or Dick Vermiels offensive system that makes the running game in KC so successful.
Two other backs who have spent their entire careers in the AFC East scored 2 TDs this past week. Curtis Martin continued to have a strong season as he helped the Jets pickup a game on division leading New England. Sammy Morris helped out the Jets by leading Miami to a huge upset win over the Patriots.
Now onto the nominees for this weeks Ultimate Fantasy voting.

Each week well take the lowest fantasy producers based on the Fantasy Sharks scoring system and put them up for an elimination vote.
This week we have two new runningbacks to choose from.
Shaun Alexander is probably at or near the top of your leagues scoring for all runningbacks for the season. However over the last few weeks he has been a disappointment. This week he rushed for 77 YDs on 19 carries and 0 TDs for 8 fantasy points.
Edgerrin James rushed for 69 YDs on 22 carries and a TD for 14 fantasy points. He scored the rushing TD as most people were hoping to watch history and Peyton Manning tie the record for passing TDs in a season. Manning has 2 more weeks and the question is not if he breaks the record, but how high he will set the new bar.
This week you get to vote between Edgerrin James and Shaun Alexander to be eliminated from the competition. Who will it be? You can place your vote here.
