Good morning and welcome to the week 15 version of lineup tips. I received this video from a friend this week and just had to share. If you’re a fan of Pulp Fiction, Chris Chelios or hockey, I think you’ll enjoy. Now on to some fantasy goodness.
Cardinals’ RB Chris Wells has a sweet matchup versus a Lions defense that surrendered 308 yards rushing and five TDs to the Ravens last week. Top 10 production should be on tap for this week.
Will Rice score a TD versus the Bears? If he doesn’t it won’t be because the Bears are good. Last week versus the Lions Rice scored only one of the Ravens five rushing TDs and it came on a 59 yard run.
Texans’ RB Arian Foster should get the majority of the carries and makes for a great fill-in should you be suffering at the RB position.
If you have Randy Moss, you probably have to play him. But, there is no way he finds his way onto any of my teams next year unless he falls into the 3rd round. Even then, maybe not.
Unless Tom Brady can throw for 7 touchdowns over the next three games, he will have thrown for 30 or more TDs only once in his career(50 TDs in 2007). I’m pretty sure you’ll have to overpay to get him on your 2010 roster.
Terrell Owens and Randy Moss on the same field. A must see…circa 2003.
Prior to week one Eddie Royal was rocketing up draft boards and Brandon Marshall was dropping like a rock. Yet, all it took was a monster week 14 for Marshall to outscore Royal on the year. Royal has 317 yards and no TDs on the year compared to Marshall’s 200 yards and two TDs in week 14.
With only one TD in his last seven games, I wouldn’t get too excited about Rashard Mendenhall‘s matchup versus the number two run defense of the Packers.
Justin Forsett or Julius Jones? If you have a choice go with Forsett, he’s the superior talent. Jim Mora plans on having Jones and Forsett rotate series.
Mike Holmgren turned down Seattle’s offer to join the Seahawks because he wants complete control without any other input, who could blame him.
Michael Irvin would trade all three of his Super Bowl championships and his Hall of Fame induction for one undefeated Super Bowl winner. Irvin is full of crap! But, he does know how to keep himself in the spotlight. A skill well honed at “The U”.
Those in dynasty leagues should keep an eye on Bears’ WR Devin Aromashodu. He’s a favorite of Cutler’s and the Bears are intent on doing whatever it takes to make Jay and his 22 interceptions happy. Speaking of Jay, look for two more picks today.
Jerry Angelo, take a good look at Flacco and Rice, they could have been Bears.
Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Good luck in week 15.
