What People are Saying About our Message Board!

A recent thread in our message boards said a great deal about how people feel about the FantasySharks.com community. Here’s a few excepts from that thread. This is truly what people are saying about our message boards and how terrific they are!

I just gotta say thanks to all. The advice I have gotten week in and week out has been great. I also participate in a couple other forums and it seems as if posts there never get answered or the advice is given in a rather harsh manner. The advice here is timely, informed, courteous and most importantly effective. You guys all rock!

This forum really makes Fantasy Football that much more fun cause nobody is shady or gives bad advice.

By far the best FF board around….

Clayn8
Yes it is.

Yeah, this place rocks. Maybe if I’d discovered it earlier I wouldn’t have a 3-8 record.

But Tugly
I must agree … good advise… nice folks and funny threads.

Don’t forget about the ladies who are part of this great site as well although I don’t think we have heard from them in a little while…

FF Chick
That’s right!!! Don’t forget about us ladies. Sometimes I feel a little left out, being a “girl” and all. Alot of sites play to the men, forgetting that there are women out there that LOVE FOOTBALL!!!!

I agree – this place is great.

No doubt. The Tank has a great atmosphere. Props to the entire Shark staff for staying so accessible; and a big shout out to the school of sharks for sharing their passion and knowledge on the boards. I was an avid poster at the Roto Times for about five years until the “experts” started neglecting their site. It’s probably been a year since I paid them a visit, but the forums had been completely overrun by knuckleheads. It was mutiny. Eventually, all of the regulars left for greener pastures and left the carcass to the jackals – I doubt that has changed.

I actually came from a FFL board on Yahoo. It was okay, but it was the best that I could find. The problem was that the posts were not that frequent and only a handful of regulars would post replies worth reading. Then came the day when a poster by the name of Prime Mover posted this link…and it was like density…I mean….destiny.

I would also like to shout out to all the sharks in here. I am one of those who rather give advice than ask for it myself but that doesn’t mean I haven’t had any use for all the good advice in here. So instead of just accepting your thanks I want to send out one of my own. I think it’s kind of cool to have a place like this to vent my thoughts and views every week. It’s very flattering to know that someone reads it and if they get some help by it – well, that’s just great. I think this forum is so good because all of you make it good and want to keep it good. The level of engagement the sharks (and chum) show makes the tank unique as a forum. Whatever subject or form, it only takes one or two morons to disturb the atmosphere in a place like this. So far every single member in here seems to be all about FF and it shows in the way you give each other and the forum respect. I think that is unprecedented when it comes to public forums like this one. So here’s to you Sharks and Chum – or let me say; future sharks. Thanks for making my season even more fun.

I second that Paddler. I’ve used this board many, many, many, many, many, times for starting advice or even for my picks. Sometimes I over think it too much and it’s good to get a second opinion. We’re all human, so I know it’s not the future, but it does help solidify my choices. Love this place.

From the first time I came into the tank, I knew it was a fantasy gem. Everyone who participates in giving and asking for advice makes it better then any other Message Board I’ve ever seen. Not just Fantasy Football, but all Message Boards. There’s no drama, no ”hateration” in this tank. Everyone I’ve encountered is nice, and willing to help out. The fact that the activity still increases at this point in the season instead of tailing off only goes to show this is a good bet. I’m with Paddler all the way. This place is great because all of us, new members included, want to keep it great. The varying view points and helpful atmosphere are just awesome here. Keep up the good work.

I’m both a Roto message board and a Mr. Football.com refugee. … Mr. Football was a great free site 5-6 years ago but it shut down. So I’d been looking for a good free site for a few years (there are two things I won’t pay for, and fantasy football advice is one of them!), and I stumbled into this place and saw Tony’s name and knew I was home – Tony used to be with the Mr. Football site. No doubt. The Tank has a great atmosphere. Props to the enitre Shark staff for staying so accessible; and a big shout out to the school of sharks for sharing their passion and knowledge on the boards.

At least all the questions get answered here I have been on other websites and the questions go unanswered.

stormtrooper
That’s what kept me here. I love the fact that everyone stays on the majority of the day and you get just more than FF advice….
